9th Iran animation celebration reveals jury panel

Members of the jury panel for the 9th Iranian Cinema Animation Celebration have been revealed, organizers say.

The event's director, Mohammad Ali Safoura, recently announced the names of the jurors for the animation celebration, which is slated to be held on September 11.

The members of the jury include Abolfazl Razani, Abdollah Alimorad, Ahmad Arabani, Majid Shakeri, Mehdi Khorramian, Nahid Samadi-Amin, Kiaresh Zandi, Hossein Ziaei and Behzad Farahat.

Iranian animators have made great strides in producing artwork comparable to the finest from around the world, while going on to win numerous awards at reputable film festivals.

A case in point is Iranian animation ‘Release from Heaven’ awarded at the Animation Day in 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
